Italic is a voice memo and AI-assisted productivity app for web and iPhone.
Record a thought, get a transcript and summary, and revisit your memos in your library. Chat about your recordings and, if you choose, connect a Google account to prepare and send Gmail messages or create Google Calendar events. Italic's agent shows drafts for approval by default; you control whether a tool asks, acts automatically, or stays off.
Google access is optional. Italic requests permission to send mail, list your calendars, and create calendar events, but does not request permission to read your inbox. Read our Privacy Policy for the details of how the app handles your data and our Terms of Service before connecting an account.
Italic in ChatGPT
Connect your Italic account to browse and search your Clips and Memos, read transcripts and summaries, and save or edit text notes in ChatGPT. The Italic interface also lets you manage saved devices, preferences and existing recording workflows. You choose which permissions to grant. The connection shares recording text and account information needed for those features; it cannot play audio or control your hardware.
